Taras was born in 1990 in Donetsk, Ukraine. While still a 3rd year student at the Donetsk Drama High School, he started his vocal studies in the Donetsk State Conservatory. After graduating in 2014 he has continued his studies as a postgraduate student in the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. In the Opera Studio of the conservatoire he performed such roles as Alfredo in LaTraviata and Lenski in Onegin.

In 2015-2016 he was an artist of the Mariinski Academy of Young Artists where he appeared on stage as the Duke in Colas Breugnon by Dmitry Kabalevsky.

Since September 2016, he has been an artist of the Young Artists Programme of the Bolshoi Theatre where continued refining his vocal skills with the Head of the Program Professor Dmitry Vdovin. He has attended numerous master classes with prominent vocal coaches such as Svetlana Nesterenko, Neil Shikoff, Eva Marton, Elizabeth Vidal, Alessandro Amoretti, among others and has performed in chamber music concerts with Liubov Orfenova, Semyon Skigin Giulio Zappa and Ivari Ilja

In June 2017 he took part in a training course at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.

He made his debut in the Bolshoi as Jelsamino in the concert performance of Il viaggio a Reims under Tugan Sokhiev in January 2017. Then he sang Rodriges in the concert performances of Don Quichiotte in the Hall aux Grains de Toulouse and Musikverein in February 2017. Also Taras performed the role of Almeric in Iolanta at the Savonlinna Opera Festival in July 2017 conducted by Tugan Sokhiev.

His other roles in the Bolshoi include Herold in Don Carlo, Remendado in Carmen and Wood Spirit in the new production of The Snow Maiden. The opening of the season 2018-2019 saw him singing at the Careras contest in the Helikon opera and performing the part of Lensky in the concert version of Eugene Onegin in the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory.

Since 2020 Taras became member of the Academia all Scala where he performed role of «Ruiz» in the production of «Il Trovatore».

Since 2021 he is a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus where he performed such roles as Rodolfo «La Boheme», Roberto «Le Villi», Faust «Faust”, Lensky «Eugene Onegin», Alfredo «La Traviata» and other projects with took place in different countries.

2021 he joined «Opernwerkstatt» and performed in Zurich, Basel, Bern, and at Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden Staatstheater.

In 2023 Taras performed in a solo concert on the stage of «Richmond Hill art performance» Toronto, Canada.

Taras is the prizewinner of the 10th Elena Obraztsova International Vocal Competition(First prize, St Petersburg, 2015) and the VI Nadezhda Obukhova Russian National Competition (Second prize, Lipezk, 2016)
